Stewards of the Sequoia continues to be the largest on the ground volunteer group in Sequoia Forest since we started in 2004.

The above Stewards of the Sequoia volunteer work since 2004 includes:

  • Installing over 2300 water bars to reduce erosion

  • Clearing over 1900 trees from the trails

  • Removing brush from hundreds of miles of trails

  • Planting over 500 trees to speed reforestation in burn areas

  • As well as hundreds of miles of Trail Tread Maintenance

There is no doubt we have shown we care about our trails and the environment.
