SPRING TRAIL APPRECIATION DAYS 2010

Please Register for the days you plan to volunteer
This will enable us
to know how many volunteers to expect, so we can  provide tools and supervision.

 

WHEN 3/13/2010 Little Dry Trail
WHERE
Meet before 9am at James Station in Southlake. Take 178 past Lake Isabella heading east, drive next to Lake about 7 miles past Mountain Mesa where you will see a Shell station, stay on 178 up hill & down into Southlake, turn right into the SPIRIT Gas station & then pull into the James Station grocery store parking lot on your right. Meet before 9am in parking lot.

Please bring water, lunch, work gloves & sunglasses. The most versatile tool is a pick (Ludell 2 1/2 lb. pick/mattock fiberglass handle, about $19.99 at Home Depot)
You can take the head off & carry it in a back pack. Bring a large back pack too if you have one. Bring any portable tools you might have-folding shovel, folding saw, clippers.
Forest Service will supply additional tools.
FEEL FREE TO DO ONE DAY OF THE TWO DAY EVENTS
All trail days will include some good riding getting to & from the work area
Please check back here the day before each event in case there are changes
Camping & lodging info
